The policies outlined below are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the event planning, ticket selling, and ticket purchase process on Diyobo.com. Each ticket that you purchase is a license to attend a particular event, and is subject to the additional terms set forth on that ticket.
Online Ticket Purchases
All ticket prices for events are in Canadian Dollars.
Ticket payment options on Diyobo.com are Visa, Mastercard, or Interac® Online.
Who is diyobo Inc.
diyobo Inc. acts as the agent to those who are promoting or otherwise providing the events for which you purchase tickets. When you purchase a ticket for an event, diyobo Inc. will be handling the transaction and collecting payment for the Event Provider. diyobo Inc. generally is just a service provider with respect to the sale.
Pricing and Availability
diyobo Inc. sells tickets on behalf of social promoters. diyobo Inc. does not set the ticket prices or determine the number of tickets available for sale on the Diyobo website for the event.
Once your order has been processed you will receive an email with your order confirmation number and ticket number(s). If you do not receive your ticket number (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with diyobo Inc. Customer Service whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. diyobo Inc. will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
diyobo Inc. will provide a full refund for any tickets purchased to an event that has been cancelled by notification of the person(s) or organization hosting the event. A refund will be given within 15 days of receiving this notification.
Billing Information Verification
Orders are processed only after a billing address, and other billing information, has been verified. Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket order that can delay processing and delivery. In these cases, Local Social Online customer service will attempt to contact you, using the information provided at the time of purchase. If diyobo Inc. is unable to reach you after its initial attempt, diyobo Inc. may cancel your order and may sell your tickets to another customer without further notice.
Limitation of Liability
You assume all risks incidental to the event for which a ticket is issued, whether before, during or after the event, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against diyobo Inc. on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor.
License; Ejection and Cancellation; No Redemption Value
Event Providers reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with Event Provider rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket's face amount. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.
You Are Subject to Search
You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, bundles and containers.
Unlawful Re-Sale of Tickets; Commercial Purposes
Unlawful resale of tickets (or attempted resale) is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. A ticket shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, unless formal written authorization is given by the Event Provider.
Online Ticket Selling
Listing Social Event Tickets For Sale
Selling your event tickets on Diyobo is simple, easy, and takes just minutes. You have full control over your ticket sales. Add more tickets, take tickets off or stop ticket sales altogether at anytime.
HERE IS HOW ITS DONE:
A) Log into your account or create an account with a valid e-mail address. You can also use your FACEBOOK account to instantly create your Diyobo account.
B) The Seller assigns a price to the tickets (you can input different ticket prices for the same event) and provides information such as the event description, date, time, and venue.
C) Select a block of tickets (example tickets numbered 001 to 050) or select all your tickets to be designated as tickets to be sold on Diyobo only.
D) Your event tickets are now available for sale online.
E) The Ticket Buyer will receive a ticket to your event in the form of an E-Ticket. (See example of E-Ticket below) Each E-Ticket will have an E-Ticket Number and E-Ticket Validation Code. This E-Ticket Number will correlate directly with a ticket number that the seller has designated for sale on the Diyobo website.
F) When presented with the E-Ticket from Diyobo, the Seller shall exchange this E-ticket for the corresponding numbered event ticket and thus allow entry into the event.
Ticket Sale Tracking
The Seller, when logged into their account, will have access to view real-time ticket sales for their events.
At any time before the event the Seller can decrease, increase, or cease the sale of tickets on Diyobo.
All ticket prices for events are in Canadian Dollars.
Three Days after the event diyobo Inc. will forward by mail, the total ticket proceeds (Less diyobo Inc. Commission) to the Seller.
diyobo Inc. will take a service fee of $2.00 per sold ticket + 4% of total ticket sales processed on the Diyobo website. The commission will be summarized for the Seller and will be withheld from any payments made to the Seller.
If the Social Event is cancelled the total ticket sales will be refunded to the ticket purchasers.
If the proceeds have been paid out to the Ticket Seller, the Ticket Seller will be responsible for returning the total proceeds back to Diyobo within two days of the date of cancellation. 2% Interest per month will be charged for all outstanding collections.
diyobo Inc. is not responsible for any errors made by the Seller in the listing of tickets and is not liable for any such errors.
