Help Center
  • Q: I Bought a Ticket But I Can't Print it, What Can I Do?
A: Some event organizer may let you use your mobile device for entry or even accept the ticket number and validation code together for entry. However, it's always best to contact the event organizer to be sure. You can also login to your account anywhere and print your tickets from the "My Tickets" section. Try your local library, or a friend / family member with a printer.
  • Q: How Do You Come Up With Your Ticket Prices and Fees?
A: The ticket prices and the ticket fees if any are determined by the event organizer. diyobo.com has no control over the ticket prices or the ticket fees. For questions about the price of tickets and fees, contact the event organizer.
  • Q: Where Do I Find My Receipt?
A: All ticket receipts are email to the account holder at the time of purchase. If you did not receive an email with your receipt, login to your account and click on your name in the top right hand corner, in the dropdown list select "My Ticket". Here you will find a history of all the tickets you purchased and the corresponding receipt.
  • Q: I Can't Seem To Login, What Am I Doing Wrong?
A: If you are trying to login with your username and password and it is not working, it is possible that the first time you signed up you used facebook. In this case try using facebook to login.
  • Q: I'm not getting emails from diyobo.com, where are my tickets?
A: Some email programs will send our emails to your junk/spam folder. The best thing to do is to add customer.service@diyobo.com to your address book and your white list.
  • A: When a customer purchases tickets, our system puts those tickets into a reserved state. If that transaction fails, the tickets are returned to the public for sale. When the event page displays "Pending" this means that all available tickets are currently reserved for purchase and may return for sale if the transactions are not completed.
  • Q: What is an e-ticket and where is my real ticket?
A: When you purchase tickets on diyobo.com your "E-ticket" is automatically emailed to you. An E-ticket is an electronic version of your ticket. This is your official ticket and will grant you access to the event. You can print the ticket or some event organizer may let you use your mobile device for entry or even accept the ticket number and validation code together for entry. However, it's always best to contact the event organizer to be sure.
  • Q: How much does it cost to sell tickets on your website?
A: It's free to list your event on diyobo.com and it only costs you money when you start to make money. Our fee for selling tickets for you is 4% of total sales plus $2.00 per ticket sold, that's it, no hidden fees! Our fees include Interac® and credit card processing fees! Watch out, our competitors often sneak these fees in on top of their fees. You can pass these fees on to your customers by adding a service fee to your tickets.
  • Q: How long does it take to add an event to diyobo.com?
A: It takes less than 10 minutes to add an event.
  • Q: How do I claim my ticket earnings?
A: We have three options to choose from; 1. we will mail you a cheque (default), 2. email money transfer (if you bank at one of the following Financial Institutions), and 3. direct deposit (the quickest and safest option). For the direct deposit option we will need either a void cheque or the details of your chequing account (Institution, Branch, Transit, & Account number). This option gets automatically deposited into your bank account without any action required by you.
  • Q: How long does it take to receive my ticket earnings?
A: Depending on the options you choose your ticket earning will be delivered to you 3 - 5 business days after the event.
  • Q: Can I cancel my event?
A: Yes, if tickets have not been sold then you can cancel your event instantly. If you cancel an event with sold tickets, all remaining unsold tickets will be removed and the event will be suspended until all refunds are issued. We will contact you to confirm cancellation before we start the refund procedure.
